Welcome to my Home page.

I hold a degree in Electronic Engineering and I work in software development, training and consulting, in particular with Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Object Oriented programming and the SQL language.

Over my years as a developer I have built several modules, mostly in the fields of interprocess communication and Operations Research.

For interprocess communication (i.e. between different processes running on the same workstation or on different workstations), both Delphi and C++ Builder provide socket components. These components, however, only work if the TCP/IP protocol is installed. I therefore built some components that work regardless of the underlying protocol, still managing to complete the communication.

For the engineering firms I collaborate with, I built a product specifically for construction site activity planning and progress tracking.

I am currently working on an optimizer for panel cutting.

All products run on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.
